For the past 25 years, CARS (and formerly EMT Group, Inc.) has creatively met the training and technical assistance (TA) needs of public and nonprofit organizations in California and across the nation. As a training and TA organization, CARS staff and consultants have focused our technical assistance and training in five broad areas:

• Volunteerism and nonprofit organizational development
• Mentoring
• Public management and supervision
