In addition to offering customized workshops to counties and local prevention providers, CARS has a successful history of organizing large-scale regional and statewide training events and conferences in a cost effective and efficient manner. CARS staff have planned and conducted small to large scale training, planning and learning community events. Efficiency in meeting logistics, coordination, and facilitation is a strength for the agency. Over the years, staff have developed expertise in identifying cost-effective and convenient meeting sites (including national and statewide regional locations) and production of high quality and relevant training materials, efficient participant registration techniques, and smooth on-site logistical coordination.
