Overview
The Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS) supports individuals and organizations working to improve mental health outcomes for children, youth, and young adults (ages 0–21) and their families, through the National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health (NTTAC) project.
Funded by SAMHSA, NTTAC strengthens community-driven and evidence-based approaches through training, technical assistance, and collaboration. As part of this project, CARS uplifts the voices of those with lived experience and champion partnerships with youth, parents, and caregivers.
NTTAC’s work is grounded in practices that are tailored to meet the specific needs of children and families, supporting systems that are effective, welcoming, and responsive. From resource development to virtual trainings, our team is committed to expanding access to high-quality, relevant mental health services across communities.
Vision: All children, youth, and families impacted by mental health challenges have what they need to thrive within a responsive, comprehensive system of care.
