Crisis Response & Recovery
CARS supports systems-level crisis preparedness, response, stabilization, and recovery across systems of care.
Our crisis training and technical assistance services are delivered across multiple sectors, including schools, mobile crisis teams, crisis stabilization centers, juvenile justice departments, and community-based organizations. Our approach builds crisis systems that are trauma-informed and tailored to specific professional and community contexts. CARS has engaged systems leaders, supervisors, and direct service providers from across the crisis continuum in both the private and public sectors.
CARS also recognizes that the crisis continuum is strongest when it is supported by cross-systems partnerships. Our crisis portfolio demonstrates success in building formal collaboration within and across governmental, Tribal, nonprofit, and private agencies.

We listen. We listen to understand how to support people in meaningful ways. We take what we hear, identify what’s needed, and respond with care that’s personalized, customized, and grounded in compassion and empathy. That approach reflects how we show up in crisis response and recovery: meeting communities where they are, offering tailored support, and working alongside them to build both immediate stability and long-term resilience.
