Get to know me
I have worked with CARS since 2013 as the Accounting and Contracts Manager. I oversee contracts and invoicing for all CARS’ projects, including multimillion dollar state and federal grants and more than 4,000 consultant contracts annually. I lead all billing, payroll, project invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit compliance, financial reports, forecasting, contract compliance, accounting regulations, and quality control. I collaborate directly with all CARS Project Directors to track project budgets relative to deliverable and ensure fiscal compliance with the terms of each contract. I also work closely with the Executive Director to support sustainability. I take the lead on creating the budgets and staffing scenarios that are required as part of submission for competitive grant funding.
When I’m not working, I love hosting weekly potlucks with friends – with an occasional competitive cookoff around the holidays. Sundays are for curling up with a good sci-fi or fantasy book. I also enjoy when my creative side comes out when I fire up my laser cutter for some crafting and jewelry design. I also hit the road as much as possible for outdoor camping adventures.
