Projects I Support:
Get to know me
In all that I do, I am a social worker. I have been working in the fields of mental health and education since 2001. I am a contributor to the field whether that be through the research, writing, facilitation, instruction and leading that I do. I am a lifelong learner and am currently working towards a doctoral degree in Social Work with the hope of making a difference in community and school-based suicide prevention/postvention and mental health. I am passionately committed to practicing trauma-informed, healing centered and culturally responsive wellness support in all that I do. Previously, I have been a Coordinator of Mental Health Services for a district and county office of education, and proudly responded with, led and trained district crisis response teams in support of students, staff and families after a crisis. I believe that wellness is a right, and I have spent the majority of my career working to bring wellness resources to underserved and underrepresented communities. When I’m not working, I love cooking and trying different foods and restaurants, and spending time with my friends and family.
