ABHPC Action Lab 2026: Everyday Heroes // Recap
Published:

“We’re providing support to the people who are doing the work every day. We always talk about compassion fatigue and burnout, and how we can do things, and practices that we can do on our own.
But what CARS does is create a community where we can really address burnout, where we can talk to one another and have peer-to-peer exchange. Where we create those very special spaces for the people doing the work.”

Through our Advance Behavioral Health Prevention California initiative, we’re committed to creating spaces where prevention professionals can learn from one another, share challenges and successes, build meaningful connections, and find support in a community that understands the work.
The sessions, speakers, and strategies matterโbut so do the relationships, conversations, and moments of connection that remind us we’re not doing this work alone.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for Action Lab 2026 and invite you to explore the recap to see the impact of this year’s gathering.
